The tip is finished with 4 holes that diffuse water from the side. The problem I've had with plugs is getting past the sigmoid part, as the plus often turns over and can't advance into the colon. This instrument, on the other hand, finds its way easily. You can then introduce the entire 58 cm length without difficulty. Having tried so many different plugs, this one is really very good.
