The leather is so dry and brittle that several falls broke off while I was conditioning it in an attempt to revive the leather enough to be able to use it.
At this price-point I do not expect premium craftsmanship, but I do expect decent quality leather and that for ex the tails are uniform in length and width. Even after multiple rounds of conditioning, it is still too stiff and brittle to use.
